At 7:11pm Tuesday February 01, 2011 Environment Canada issued a Winter Storm Warning for the City of Toronto as follow:

Tuesday (Night):

Cloudy. 40 percent chance of flurries this evening. Snow beginning late this evening changing to near blizzard after midnight. Snowfall amount 15 cm. Wind northeast 30 km/h gusting to 50 except gusting to 70 near Lake Ontario overnight. Low minus 10.

Wednesday (Daytime):

Near blizzard ending in the morning then snow and blowing snow. Snowfall amount 10 to 15 cm. Wind northeast 30 km/h gusting to 50 except gusting to 70 near Lake Ontario in the morning. High minus 5.

Wednesday (Night):
Cloudy with 60 percent chance of flurries in the evening. Clearing overnight. Wind north 30 km/h becoming light overnight. Low minus 13.
